    Wednesday 1st September marks the 6th annual Gamblefree Day, a day to raise awareness of the impact of problem gambling in New Zealand. GSL is proud to support this important work to address the harm that problem gambling causes in our homes, families and communities.

     

    GSL client HSC and their problem gambling team will, together with the Problem Gambling Foundation, be supporting events happening around the country to address gambling issues in our communities.

  • Cervical Screening Awareness Month

    September is Cervical Screening Awareness Month, it's a good time to have a think about when you last had a smear test, and whether you are due for another one. If you are - don't put it off, it could save your life.

    Cervical Screening Awareness Month is coordinated by the National Screening Unit, in partnership with Stayfree. During the month, women can enter an online competition to go in the draw to win 1 of 1000 Neutrogena lip glosses worth $24.95 - go to www.cervicalscreening.govt.nz to enter.

    Boy leads nominations at the Qantas Film and Television Awards.

    As GSL starts working on the Australian presence for Taika Waititi's movie, it's great to see the talented cast and crew leading the nominations as this years Qantas Film and Television Awards finalists are announced. Boy received 13 nominations, including Best Feature Film, Best Director and Best Lead Actor.
